a bit of background for this week's questions: for a class of mine, i read a theoretical analysis (haha) of photography. the author compared the camera to a gun.
- are you open to people taking pictures of you?
- what about strangers approaching you with such a request?
- would you participate in a candid session with a photographer (act as though the photographer and camera are not present)?
- do cameras (and nowadays, camera phones) cause any violation of a person's privacy?
- is a photograph still a photograph if it's been altered?
i'll post next week's questions on friday (12/5).
happy thanksgiving weekend!
